What if... your life were to end today? What if you are not 100% certain that you would go to Heaven?

Wouldn’t you like to know what God says in the Bible about eternity?

The Bible says that you need to believe with all your heart the following four things in order to be forgiven and have Heaven as your eternal home:

1.  That you have sinned against Almighty God. "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23. There are no exceptions. None of us are good enough.

2.  That there is a serious penalty for sin. "The wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23. There is no escaping it - our sins are killing us, and our world!

3.  That Jesus died on the cross for you personally; was buried, and rose again, victorious over all your sin so that you could be forgiven. “God commendeth (gives) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

4.  That Jesus is able and willing to save you right now from sin’s eternal penalty – hell. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13. It’s called being “born again” – but instead of it being a physical birth, it is a spiritual birth, and it makes you, not religious, but a child of God!

What God is waiting for, is for you to simply accept Jesus Christ as your substitute in death on the cross, so that you can live eternally. Jesus willingly took the punishment on the cross that we all deserve, so we could obtain a new life that we don’t deserve.

Most of us have heard that we have to live good lives and be sincere, and not really hurt anybody if we are to deserve heaven. But none of that is what God said to do, and none of it gives us any confidence about where we will spend eternity.

Even all our best efforts are only feeble attempts to earn a place in heaven, while God says we can only come to Him through the finished work of His Son, Jesus Christ! Jesus said in John 14:6, “No man cometh unto the Father but by me.”

So, right now, if you want, you can be born again - saved from your sins, and hell, and be completely forgiven!

But, you must ask God in simple faith, to forgive you of your sin and save you, not because you deserve it, but because Jesus purchased it for you, and offers it to you for free!

If you have just prayed, asking Him to save you, and forgive you (not with only words from the mouth, but a cry from the heart, realizing that you are lost without Jesus), God says He has done some wonderful things for you:

1.  Jesus has received you. No matter who are, or what you’ve done, He accepts all who come to Him by child-like faith. “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” John 6:37

2.  You have become a child of God. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12. Welcome to the family of God!

3.  Your sins are completely forgiven. “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his (Jesus’) name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission (removal) of sins.” Acts 10:43.

4.  You have been saved from an eternity in Hell. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.

5.  You have received the priceless gift of eternal life. “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

So, what if you were to die right now? If you still ignore this opportunity, then you are still headed to a devil’s hell. But if you have asked Christ to save you, there can be no doubt about where you will spend eternity – it’s going to be HEAVEN!
